Windlab - Coonooer Bridge Wind Farm innovates 'social licence' from local communities

Eagle Corporate Advisers served as legal counsel to Windlab Systems Pty Ltd, ('Windlab'), a spin-off company from CSIRO, on building out an innovative 'social licence' approach to wind farm project development. Some thirty land owners are shareholders in the project as a result.

Eagle Corporate Advisers advised Windlab on structuring and implementing the Wind Farm project in Coonooer Bridge, a small farming community north-west of Bendigo. Based on gaining a 'social licence' to operate Windlab has strived to achieve not just regulatory approval for the project, but a much better level of local acceptance as well.
