Eagle Corporate Advisers (ECA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with international development agency, Australian Business Volunteers (ABV) in connection with a project for the Cambodian government.<\/p>

With ABV to assist with the development of Cambodia\u2019s first-ever securities market, this MoU allowed ECA to contribute legal and market research support to the Cambodian government for the duration of the project.<\/p>

\u201cABV possesses great talent and ability in managing what was a complex project,\u201d said Brett R. Eagle, CEO of ECA. \u201cIt was critical to the project\u2019s success and we were very pleased to partner with them towards that end. Our challenge at the end of the day was to advance the interests of the nation in both local and global markets, and that\u2019s exciting.\u201d<\/p>

Marine Rescue NSW<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Brett is a volunteer member of Marine Rescue NSW.\u00a0 He serves at the Middle Harbour, Sydney, base as skipper of one of the rescue vessels.\u00a0 This typically involves 1-2 days per month and otherwise on emergency call-out.<\/p>

Marine Rescue NSW is the state\u2019s official volunteer marine rescue service, committed to saving lives on the water.\u00a0 It has a network of 45 strategically-located units on the NSW coastline, Lord Howe Island and inland on the Alpine Lakes in the Snowy Mountains and the Murray River at Moama.<\/p>

There are over 100 vessels including ocean-going vessels, vessels to serve shallower, inland waterways, as well as newly commissioned jet-ski vessels.\u00a0 There are over 3,000 volunteers.<\/p>

Brett has volunteered with Marine Rescue NSW for over ten years.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Wild Oats racing yacht \u2013 2019 \u2013 2023<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For four years Brett skippered and campaigned the Wild Oats racing yacht.\u00a0 During such time he built a sports-focused community of more than 30 people who sailed regularly in the ocean and inshore races, and an extended community of over 70 people, that included spouses, children, moms and dads of the sailors, who were always keen for updates on the big, multi-day races.\u00a0 The end of year and birthday celebration gatherings were a hoot!<\/p>

This community became a true life line support for many folk through the Covid19 pandemic lock-downs and associated stresses.\u00a0 It was a high priority to take care of everyone!<\/p>

As Skipper\/owner Brett has competed in many thousands of miles of offshore sailing races, including Sydney to Hobart races.<\/p>

This yacht is the original Wild Oats that the Oatley family had custom built, and which started the \u2018Bob Oatley\u2019 legacy, that eventually led to the commissioning of the Wild Oats XI maxi yacht, nine-times line honours winner of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Brett worked closely with a client that provided crude oil and refined petroleum shipping services for a number of years.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The client had approximately 42 vessels in its fleet (Suezmax, Handysize, Panamax and other vessels, mostly flagged in the Marshall Islands, each under a separate LLC entity) aggregating approximately 3.6 million dwt.\u00a0 With such client, he completed $\u201900s millions in capital raising transactions on the NYSE as well as privately, assisted with acquisitions of new and existing vessels with financing arrangements from banks in Germany and elsewhere, and many other matters.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The project involved representing Sinosure for a number of years \u2013 the Chinese government export credit and insurance corporation \u2013 and approximately 15 China-based bicycle manufacturers during the bankruptcy process of the United States\u2019 based Huffy Corporation, and in particular, the title to goods while in transit and transfer of title pursuant to INCO terms, protection of payment obligations by way of letters of credit and other instruments, bills of lading, customs declarations and other matters facilitating the clearance of goods through the Port of Los Angeles, U.S.A.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
